Dr. Beall is now Chief of Services at Clinical Radiology of Oklahoma and the Spine Fracture Institute in Edmond, Oklahoma. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology and holding fellowship credentials from the World Institute of Pain (FIPP) and the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR), he is a nationally recognized pioneer in vertebral augmentation and interventional spine. He served as principal investigator on the EVOLVE multicenter kyphoplasty trial, the VAST randomized controlled trial of disc allograft supplementation, and dozens of additional prospective clinical studies. He has authored 10+ textbooks, 78 book chapters, more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, and has participated in 60+ clinical research trials.
He is also a co-founder and Vice-Chair of the World Institute of Regenerative Medicine (WIRM), an international society focused on advancing regenerative medicine through education, collaboration, and clinical innovation.
Among the most honored physicians in his specialty, Dr. Beall has been named to the Castle Connolly Top Doctors list every year since 2015 and received the Patients' Choice Award continuously from 2011 through 2025. He received the Physician Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience in 2023, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York & New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians in 2024, and the Physician Leader of the Year Award from the National Spine and Pain Centers in 2022. In 2026, he was inducted as a Founding Member and elected President of the American Academy of Interventional Spine and Neuromodulation (AAISN). He was inducted into the Kingfisher High School Hall of Fame in 2010 and nominated to the State of Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2016.
Dr. Beall has been principal or co-investigator on more than 55 clinical trials and has authored over 238 peer-reviewed publications. His work spans foundational multicenter RCTs to prospective registry studies that have directly shaped clinical guidelines.
More than 1,000 invited lectures across five continents. Core faculty at the Seattle Science Foundation. A recurring presence on BackTable and PainCast. Dr. Beall is one of the most recognized voices in interventional spine education worldwide.
Dr. Beall has delivered more than 1,000 invited lectures across five continents, making him one of the most sought-after educators in interventional spine and pain medicine. His presentations span the full breadth of his clinical expertise, from kyphoplasty technique and vertebral augmentation outcomes to advanced neuromodulation and novel disc regeneration therapies.
He has served as a featured speaker at major international meetings including the North American Spine Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, and PainCast, a global pain medicine education network broadcast to a worldwide physician audience.
Dr. Beall is a core faculty member of the Seattle Science Foundation, a non-profit medical education organization that trains interventionalists from across the United States and internationally. He teaches multiple courses at SSF, including the Image Guided Spine Course, an intensive, procedure-based program drawing fellows and practicing interventional radiologists each year, as well as the Interventional Pain Fellows Course, which provides advanced training for pain medicine fellows in the full scope of interventional techniques.
His teaching at SSF spans the full procedural breadth of his practice, including kyphoplasty approaches, basivertebral nerve ablation, interspinous fusion devices, sacroplasty technique, and targeted drug delivery, reflecting the same curriculum he has delivered at more than 1,000 lectures worldwide. Both SSF courses offer CME credit and are open to all interventionalists seeking advanced procedural training.
Dr. Beall is a featured expert on PainCast, the global pain medicine education network, delivering keynote addresses and lectures at international conferences broadcast to a worldwide physician audience.
His PainCast appearances include keynote coverage of the Latin American Pain Society 2024 conference, where he presented on advances in interventional spine care to an international audience of pain specialists.
Dr. Beall is a recurring guest on the BackTable Vascular & Interventional and BackTable MSK podcasts, with 15 recorded episodes covering the breadth of his interventional spine practice. BackTable is one of the most widely followed procedural medicine podcasts among interventional radiologists and pain specialists, and Dr. Beall's episodes consistently rank among the most downloaded on vertebral augmentation topics.
Topics across his episodes include kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty technique, sacroplasty for sacral insufficiency fractures, osteoporosis management after vertebral augmentation, extravertebral augmentation, intrathecal drug delivery, and emerging technologies in interventional spine including interspinous devices and disc augmentation.

Balloon kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure performed under fluoroscopic guidance that restores vertebral body height, reduces kyphotic deformity, and stabilizes painful vertebral compression fractures using an inflatable bone tamp followed by injection of bone cement. Dr. Beall is a nationally recognized expert in vertebral augmentation, having led the EVOLVE multicenter trial, authored the textbook The Comprehensive Guide to Vertebral Augmentation (Thieme, 2020), and delivered over 300 lectures on kyphoplasty technique and outcomes worldwide.
